Madr*d — please, stay home

In Spring 2020 the situation caused by the covid-19 outbreak was extremely hard in large cities like Madrid. Experiencing everything from the screen, I wanted to stay creative for something meaningful.

I designed several icons in a hand-drawn style after the pandemic and lockdown topics. Then I used them to create a pattern, which could be applied to different merchandising products.

Inspiration came from the new pictures which were conquering the collective imagery. I wanted to express the loss many people were suffering and still convey tranquility and closeness.

This project was intended to produce and sell these items to raise funds for an NGO dedicated to accompanying and drawing attention to the homeless.
